We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, set up a subscription, or contact us. This includes business name, contact details, billing information, and device configuration data.
We also collect data generated by devices registered on the platform — including GPS coordinates, speed, fuel levels, engine status, temperature readings, and event timestamps. This data is collected on behalf of our clients and used solely to power the services they have subscribed to.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Fleetology platform, process subscription payments via M-Pesa and other payment methods, send renewal reminders and system notifications, provide customer support, and generate compliance documentation on your behalf.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use device tracking data for advertising purposes.
All data is stored on secured servers with access controls, encryption at rest, and encrypted connections in transit. Device event data is retained for a rolling period as defined in your subscription plan. You may request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
We maintain audit logs of access to sensitive data and conduct regular security reviews.
We share data only as necessary to operate the platform — with payment processors to handle M-Pesa transactions, with SMS and push notification providers to deliver alerts, and with cloud infrastructure providers that host our services. All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements.
We may disclose data if required by Kenyan law or valid legal process.
You have the right to access the data we hold about your account and your devices, request corrections to inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

The Fleetology web platform uses session cookies for authentication and preference cookies to remember your settings. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some platform features may not function correctly without them.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify account holders via email and update the effective date below. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
